Using AidNow
By accessing or using AidNow, you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the platform. AidNow is provided free of charge for personal, non-commercial use.
Not a replacement for emergency services
AidNow provides educational and supportive emergency information. It does not contact emergency services on your behalf, dispatch help, or guarantee a response.
In a life-threatening emergency, call 112 (India) or your local emergency number first — before or while using AidNow guidance.
Not individualized medical advice
AidNow content is general guidance for ordinary people in common emergency situations. It is not a diagnosis, prescription, or substitute for care from a qualified health professional who can assess the specific person and circumstances in front of them.
Content is in Draft status
All AidNow emergency content is currently in Draft status — researched and structured, but not yet independently reviewed by medical professionals. Review status is shown on each piece of content. See our disclaimer for details.
Your responsibility
You are responsible for your own decisions and actions. Use AidNow as one source of support while waiting for professional help — not as the sole basis for decisions in serious or uncertain situations.
If guidance seems wrong for your situation, trust your judgment, seek professional help, and follow instructions from emergency operators or on-scene responders.
No warranty
AidNow is provided “as is” without warranties of any kind. We work hard to make guidance accurate, clear, and accessible, but we cannot guarantee that content is complete, current, error-free, or suitable for every situation.
To the extent permitted by law, AidNow and its operators are not liable for any harm, loss, or damage arising from use of or reliance on the platform — including when guidance is followed in good faith.
Intellectual property
Emergency procedures and first aid standards are drawn from publicly available guidance (Red Cross, WHO, national authorities, and similar sources). AidNow's original editorial work — including structure, plain-language writing, visual design, and organisation — is protected by applicable copyright law.
You may print and share AidNow resources for personal, educational, and community preparedness purposes. Commercial republication or misrepresentation of AidNow content as professionally reviewed medical advice is not permitted.
Service availability
We aim to keep AidNow available, but the service may be interrupted for maintenance, updates, or circumstances beyond our control. Offline-cached emergency pages may help when connectivity is lost, but cached content may not reflect the latest updates. Learn about offline access →
