REALITY: DEVELOPMENT FIXTURE — Untrained descent without air monitoring and edge protection kills rescuers. Tripod winch systems and harness extraction are standard.
DANGER: DEVELOPMENT FIXTURE — Secondary fall and suffocation for both victim and rescuer.
DEVELOPMENT FIXTURE — Wells and boreholes are narrow with unstable walls. Depth increases risk of injury from fall and hypothermia from groundwater.
