DEVELOPMENT FIXTURE — Occupants hanging in seatbelts or not responding.
Scene hazards: Unstable vehicle, Fuel leak, Traffic, Broken glass
DEVELOPMENT FIXTURE — Call 112. Turn off traffic flow if possible.
DEVELOPMENT FIXTURE — Approach from uphill/upwind side only.
DEVELOPMENT FIXTURE — Talk to occupants — ask who is hurt and whether fuel smells.
DEVELOPMENT FIXTURE — If vehicle rocks, back away and keep others clear.
DEVELOPMENT FIXTURE — Call 112. Say: "Vehicle rollover at [location]. [Number] people inside."
DEVELOPMENT FIXTURE — Report vehicle type, stability, and visible fire or leak.
DEVELOPMENT FIXTURE — Assume spinal injury in all rollover victims.
DEVELOPMENT FIXTURE — Unconscious or trapped persons need professional extrication.

REALITY: DEVELOPMENT FIXTURE — Improper extrication worsens spinal and crush injuries. Stabilize and wait for rescue when possible.
DANGER: DEVELOPMENT FIXTURE — Pulling someone through broken glass without cervical support causes paralysis.
DEVELOPMENT FIXTURE — Roof crush and seatbelt injuries are common. Vehicle may shift and crush rescuers or occupants.
DEVELOPMENT FIXTURE — Side windows may be the only safe access point.
