DEVELOPMENT FIXTURE — Severe headache — often described as the worst headache of their life.

DEVELOPMENT FIXTURE — If they have severe headache, chest pain, confusion, or vision loss — call 112.
DEVELOPMENT FIXTURE — Help them sit in a quiet place and breathe slowly.
DEVELOPMENT FIXTURE — Ask about their usual medicines and whether they took them today.
DEVELOPMENT FIXTURE — Loosen tight clothing. Keep the room calm and dim if light bothers them.
DEVELOPMENT FIXTURE — If they have a home BP monitor, note the reading and time for the ambulance crew.
DEVELOPMENT FIXTURE — Do not argue or stress them — anxiety can raise blood pressure further.
DEVELOPMENT FIXTURE — Call 112. Say: "Very high blood pressure with severe headache / chest pain / vision problems."
DEVELOPMENT FIXTURE — Share their BP reading if known, age, medicines, and pregnancy status.
DEVELOPMENT FIXTURE — For mild elevation without symptoms, contact their doctor urgently — but call 112 if unsure.
DEVELOPMENT FIXTURE — Hypertensive crisis with organ symptoms (head, heart, brain, eyes) needs emergency hospital care.

REALITY: DEVELOPMENT FIXTURE — Many people have high readings without symptoms. Emergency care is needed when severe symptoms accompany high BP.
DANGER: DEVELOPMENT FIXTURE — Either ignoring true emergencies or flooding services for harmless elevated readings.
DEVELOPMENT FIXTURE — Blood pressure can spike dangerously high and damage the brain, heart, kidneys, or eyes — especially if untreated or medicines were missed.
