DEVELOPMENT FIXTURE — Object visibly stuck in limb, chest, abdomen, neck, or head.

DEVELOPMENT FIXTURE — Person in severe pain, shock, or losing consciousness.

Any movement of the object can cause severe internal damage.
DEVELOPMENT FIXTURE — Tell the person and everyone nearby: "Do not pull it out."
DEVELOPMENT FIXTURE — Call 112 on speaker.
DEVELOPMENT FIXTURE — Stabilize the object with bulky dressings or cloth rolled around it — tape to the body without pushing deeper.
DEVELOPMENT FIXTURE — Apply pressure to bleeding around the wound edges, not directly on the object.
DEVELOPMENT FIXTURE — Keep the person still in the position that causes least pain.
DEVELOPMENT FIXTURE — Say: "Impaled object in [body part]. Object is still in place. Person is conscious/not conscious."
DEVELOPMENT FIXTURE — Describe object type and size if visible. Do not delay calling to measure.
DEVELOPMENT FIXTURE — Impalement always needs emergency hospital care — removal requires surgical teams.
DEVELOPMENT FIXTURE — Tell paramedics exactly where the object entered and whether bleeding is controlled.

REALITY: DEVELOPMENT FIXTURE — Quick removal often causes fatal bleeding. The object should stay in place until hospital care.
DANGER: DEVELOPMENT FIXTURE — Sudden death from uncontrolled hemorrhage.
DEVELOPMENT FIXTURE — The object may be plugging a blood vessel or organ. Removing it can cause sudden massive bleeding.
DEVELOPMENT FIXTURE — Doctors remove impaled objects in controlled settings with imaging and surgery ready.
