DEVELOPMENT FIXTURE — Have them sit down and avoid rubbing the injured eye.
DEVELOPMENT FIXTURE — Apply a cold pack wrapped in cloth to the area — not directly on the eyeball.
DEVELOPMENT FIXTURE — If they cannot open the eye comfortably, cover both eyes loosely with a clean pad to reduce movement.
DEVELOPMENT FIXTURE — Ask if they see normally out of the injured eye — compare to the other side.
DEVELOPMENT FIXTURE — Call 112 if vision is affected, blood is visible in the white or pupil area, or pain is severe.
DEVELOPMENT FIXTURE — Describe how the injury happened and current vision status.
DEVELOPMENT FIXTURE — Any loss of vision, blood in the eye, or injury from high-speed object needs urgent ophthalmology care.
