Move quickly upwind. Avoid low areas where vapors collect.
DEVELOPMENT FIXTURE — Identify wind direction — move upwind and uphill immediately.
DEVELOPMENT FIXTURE — Stay away from drains, ditches, and low ground where vapors settle.
DEVELOPMENT FIXTURE — Alert others to move with you — shout "Chemical release — go upwind!"
DEVELOPMENT FIXTURE — Keep moving until you are well clear of the visible or smelled hazard.

DANGER: DEVELOPMENT FIXTURE — Staying downwind because "it smells fine" allows silent poisoning.
DEVELOPMENT FIXTURE — Industrial chemicals may be toxic by inhalation, skin contact, or fire. Releases can spread fast on wind.
