   Step 1: Move upwind and away from vent or crater immediately

   Step 2: Cover nose and mouth with damp cloth if escaping

3. 3

   Step 3: Call 112 and follow civil defence orders

4. 4

   Step 4: Do not shelter in low valleys where gas pools

5. 5

   Step 5: Seek medical care if coughing blood or collapse
