   Step 1: Get everyone away from the vehicle immediately — at least 30 meters

   Step 2: Do not open the hood or trunk if engine area is burning

3. 3

   Step 3: Move upwind if possible — toxic smoke and fuel vapors spread downwind

4. 4

   Step 4: Call 101 once at a safe distance

5. 5

   Step 5: Warn other traffic to stay clear
