Call 112. Warm first baby. Watch bleeding. Second coming — do not pull.
Step 1: Call 112 — twin delivery first born second coming
Step 2: Dry and warm first twin skin-to-skin if stable
Step 3: Note time between births — usually under 30 minutes
Step 4: Second twin may be breech — do not pull
Step 5: Monitor bleeding between births
DEVELOPMENT FIXTURE — Do NOT neglect first twin warming while awaiting second.
DEVELOPMENT FIXTURE — Do NOT give ergot herbs to contract uterus untrained.
All twin births need hospital and two neonatal teams ideally.
