Grain and sand behave like fluid — moving aggressively causes engulfment.

Stop machines. Get highest safe point. Cover mouth. Tap walls. Wait for trained rescue.

Step 1: Stop all machinery operation if controls are reachable
Step 2: Move to highest point if liquid or grain is rising — but avoid unstable surfaces
Step 3: Cover mouth with cloth and breathe slowly — toxic atmospheres are common
Step 4: Tap on metal walls in rhythm for external rescuers
Step 5: Do not attempt to climb out without harness and spotter if walls are sheer

Confined space rescue requires trained teams with breathing apparatus.
