Step 1: Shout for help and call 112
Step 2: Use reaching pole or throw ring — pool edge rescue first
Step 3: Switch off pool pump if someone is trapped on drain — call technician
Step 4: Start CPR on pool deck if not breathing
Step 5: Check for spinal injury if dive accident — minimize neck movement
