Step 1: Call 112 or midwife — stillbirth
Step 2: Treat mother for bleeding same as live birth — massage fundus
Step 3: Wrap baby gently in blanket offer parents time to hold if they wish
Step 4: Do not attempt prolonged resuscitation if obviously macerated or no heart weeks known
Step 5: Arrange hospital transport for mother
