If fall from height, suspect neck injury — minimize head movement.
Pressure on bleeding. Sit upright. Cold for swelling. Call 112 if bad bleed or breathing trouble.
Step 1: Call 112 if heavy bleeding, trouble breathing, or unconsciousness
Step 2: Apply firm pressure with clean cloth to bleeding areas
Step 3: Keep the person sitting upright if breathing is okay
Step 4: Apply cold compress to swelling — not on open deep wounds
Step 5: Watch for clear fluid from nose or ears after head blow
DEVELOPMENT FIXTURE — Do NOT tilt the head back during nosebleed — blood can run down the throat.
DEVELOPMENT FIXTURE — Do NOT remove bandages if they soak through — add more layers on top.
Heavy bleeding, breathing difficulty, deformity, or fluid from nose/ears needs emergency care.
