Call 112. Block dog with object. Pull victim away. Hospital after.

Step 1: Call 112 immediately — say "dog attack in progress"
Step 2: Do NOT put your face or hands near the dog's mouth
Step 3: Create a barrier — jacket, bag, stick, or bicycle between person and dog
Step 4: Pull the victim to safety without turning your back on the dog
Step 5: After the attack stops — wash wounds and go to hospital for rabies care

DEVELOPMENT FIXTURE — All bite wounds from an attack need emergency wound care and rabies evaluation.
DEVELOPMENT FIXTURE — Severe mauling, face or neck bites, or uncontrolled bleeding need ambulance transport.

Know your limits: DEVELOPMENT FIXTURE — Priority is stopping the attack and getting the victim to safety. Do not fight the dog bare-handed.
