   Step 1: Flush the eye with running water immediately

   Step 2: Hold eyelids open — flush for at least 20 minutes

   Step 3: Call 112 while continuing to flush if possible

4. 4

   Step 4: Remove contact lenses if they do not come out during flushing

5. 5

   Step 5: Do not rub the eye
