Call 112. Use EpiPen in thigh. Lay flat, legs up. Second dose in 5 minutes if still bad.
Step 1: Call 112 or 108 immediately — say "anaphylaxis" or "severe allergic reaction"
Step 2: Use an epinephrine auto-injector (EpiPen) if available — inject into outer thigh
Step 3: Lay the person flat and raise their legs unless they are vomiting or struggling to breathe sitting up
Step 4: Give a second epinephrine dose after 5 minutes if symptoms continue and help has not arrived
Step 5: Be ready to start CPR if they stop breathing or become unresponsive
DEVELOPMENT FIXTURE — Do NOT rely on antihistamines (like cetirizine) alone — they cannot stop anaphylaxis.
DEVELOPMENT FIXTURE — Do NOT make them stand or walk — this can worsen shock.
DEVELOPMENT FIXTURE — Do NOT give food, drink, or anything by mouth.
DEVELOPMENT FIXTURE — Do NOT wait to see if it gets better before calling for help.
Any suspected anaphylaxis needs emergency care immediately — even if epinephrine seems to help.
